These terms are in force for projects booked today and are under review by our attorney. If anything material changes we will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and we will not apply changes retroactively to work already booked.

Edits and Audits LLC ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have.
1. Who this covers
This policy applies to visitors to our website and to clients who purchase our services.
2. What we collect
Information you give us.
- Contact details — name, email address, and company or brand name, submitted through our intake forms.
- Project information — details about the work you want done, including content type, page counts, deadlines, and context you choose to share.
- Files and links — documents you upload or link for editing; URLs, staging links, design files, and any access credentials you provide for audits; support-ticket exports or summaries you provide for Teardowns.
- Payment information — processed directly by our payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction details. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers.
Information collected automatically.
- Standard server and form-provider logs, which may include IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and timestamps.
- If and when we add website analytics, aggregate usage data. We will update this policy before doing so.
Partial form submissions. Our form provider records partially completed submissions. If you begin an intake form and do not finish, we may retain what you entered, including your contact details.
3. Service providers
We use third parties to operate the business. Each receives only what it needs:

4. How we use information
We use what we collect to: perform the services you purchase; communicate about your project; process payments and manage subscriptions; deliver completed work; keep business and tax records; improve our services; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or share your personal information. We do not use your content to train machine-learning models. We do not send marketing email to clients who have not asked for it.
5. Confidentiality of client materials
Materials you send us for editing or auditing are treated as confidential under our Client Services Agreement. We do not publish, share, or use them as examples without your written permission.
6. Retention
We keep project materials and correspondence as long as reasonably necessary to perform the services, resolve disputes, and meet record-keeping and tax obligations. You may request deletion of your project materials at any time; we will comply subject to backup cycles and any legal retention requirement.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, and rely on the security practices of the providers listed in Section 3. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Please do not send us credentials for production systems, administrator accounts, or anything containing sensitive personal data (financial account numbers, health information, government identifiers) unless we have specifically agreed on a secure method.
8. Your choices and rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccuracies, deletion, or a copy in portable form. To make a request, email us at the address in Section 11. We will verify your identity before responding.
California residents. Depending on applicability, California law may give you rights to know, delete, correct, and limit use of your personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
EU/UK residents. Where applicable data protection law applies, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating the business, and consent where required.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States and process information here. If you contact us from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
10. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
